The WITH (Well-being In The Home) Project was developed for children and young people who have a parent with a mental health difficulty. It is a number of informational videos on the different types of mental health difficulties parents may have and how they can be helped.
The WITH Project was developed by Dr Sharyn Byrne (Senior Clinical Psychologist) of the Castlebar CAMHS service, in collaboration with Mindspace Mayo and members of Co. Mayo youth groups. It was funded by the Department of Children & Youth Affairs. This resource is recommended for ages 10+.
- UP TO 1 IN 5 – Children and young people, at some time in their childhoods, live with a parent who has a mental health difficulty.
- KNOWING MORE HELPS – Young people are empowered when they have accurate information.
